Experience : Influenza B

In the midst of this pandemic, it reminds me of my most painful experience of getting sick my whole life Was it last 2 years? Mmm The day before I was telling my family "Last year setahun tak pernah mc langsung" The next day I went to have dinner with my family After I came back from the restaurant, about 2 hours or so, suddenly I had chills and muscle aches And by midnight my chest felt really heavy Masa ni I really thought I was going to die Served me right Berlagak setahun tak pernah mc, tiba2 terus sakit 😭 Then I started having fever and flu The weird thing was, I had fever only at night During the day, temperature was back to normal Usually if I take panadol, it would relieve overnight But all of the symptoms went on for over 3 days Baring ke kiri tak kena Ke kanan tak kena My back was in so much pain After 3 days, I decided to go to the clinic Doc asked if I would like to take a blood test She suspected dengue or maybe influenza So I agreed Turned out I had influenza B...

Considering how Covid is affecting the whole world and no traveling at the moment 😔 I dont want to write about my traveling experience I'm going to share favourite quotes from a book I read Life Lessons From The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma I feel deeply connected with his words Possibly my soul is in search of some motivation There are 101 lessons written in his book Here are my favourites.... 1. Discover your calling Finding your calling does not mean you must leave the job you now have. You need to bring more of yourself into your work & focus on the things you do best . London & Paris - Planning

Image
It has been awhile since I last blogged. Another self-planned for those who are interested. This time around, it's London & Paris. For a start, I used same method as before. Just an additional step I added this time. This post might seem redundant like Japan's. Just a slight improvement on planning and costing. I'll also be sharing several references and recommendations as a self-guide. Summary 1) Look out for prices offered by travel agencies as a benchmark 2) List out places of interest & make a general flow 3)  Book flight tickets 4) Work out on costing & itinerary using Excel 5) Survey & book accommodation 6) Study on mode of transportation & book or pay accordingly 7) Download apps 8) What to bring 1) Look out for prices offered by travel agencies as a benchmark You know which country you wanna go. But main concern of a self-planned trip is always on " how much would a trip cost ". So for a start,  look out for packages off...

Osaka & Kyoto

From Tokyo, we took a domestic flight to southern part of Japan Osaka 2nd largest city after Tokyo Took us about 1.5hours Before leaving for Osaka, had to return the prepaid card Suica And got a refund for the balance We stayed in Morishoji About 20mins away from the city I love the place So close to the station There's also a supermarket nearby (this was the best part) Booked from Airbnb Owner is Kazu You can search for her I'd recommend her place Just a little hiccup I forgot to check on the elevator availability Turned out we had to climb up to 4th floor With 2 big luggages Imagine the struggle my sis and I had to face Ok don't imagine So if you'd be travelling light, her place is a good choice 👍 On the bright side, the owner lent us a portable wifi Which was very handy Didn't do much on the first day Giving mum and ourselves a break After struggling with the luggages lulz Next day, our first destination was Osaka Castle We stop...
