Finally got the time to post a write up on my KK Trip
It was my 2nd time to KK
Went there with them ladies and lil guy
So basically there were 6 adults and 1 kid
We decided at the very last minute
Got cheap MAS tickets
As for accommodation, menumpang other people's staff benefits
Apa lagi kan
Teruskan je lah berjalan 😁
First I got this number from my friend +6012-825 5002
We rented an Innova with Redza
Very friendly and helpful
Went there for 3 days and 2 nights
A really quick getaway
So we did a simple itinerary
13/1/17 Friday
Left for KK at 8.25am & touched down at 11.10am
So it took us around 2hrs and 45mins
Sampai je, we contacted Redza and got the car
Paid lump sum for 3 days
Since none of us could remember vividly the road in KK, we used Google Maps
Had lunch at Restoran Sri Melaka
Rasa.........hm not bad
Checked in, rest semua
Sebab sedih tak dapat tidur Karambunai, we just went there in the eve
Cuci mata and,,,,photoshoot sikit, eh
This is Karambunai beach
On the way back, we had our dinner at Gayang Seafood Restaurant
Kuciwa sedikit
Sebab tak dapat lobster 😭
Tapi dapat chilli crab & butter prawn mmm 😋

Had breakfast
Left for Kundasang quite late
Biasalah, perempuan bersiap 😏
Lama lah jugak to get to Kundasang
About 2 hours
Jumpa Jambatan Tamparuli 🎶 signboard
On our way up to Kundasang, we found a scenic spot
To view the Mount Kinabalu upclose
Simply breathtaking 😍
Semput jugak Innova nak naik ke Desa Cattle Dairy Farm eh
Fatihah tak tinggal
Takut tak boleh naik 😂
Alhamdulillah finally we managed to reach the place ! Yay !
The view was breathtaking !
The time we were there, it was almost noon
Mount Kinabalu was already covered by clouds
Luckily dah sempat photoshoot with Mount Kinabalu before reaching Kundasang
If not covered by clouds, possibly lebih indah ! 😍
Anyhow we fed the calves and goats
Bayar sikit lah to get the grass and milk
Tak silap RM1 for grass, RM1 for milk
I didn't feed the calves and goats
My nephew did
I remember it was abit chaotic
My cousins and I were frantic with worry
All because of our lil guy
Fearlessly excited seeing the calves and goats
Tangan dia sibuk nak hulur dekat mulut kambing & lembu tu
Kambing dah acah-acah nganga excited
Mum scolded us for being overworried
"Belum pernah ada sejarah kambing makan/gigit orang la"
Ok fine 😂
Before going back, we bought yogurt & choc icecream
White one was sour
Nama pun yogurt kan
But chocolate was so gooood mmm
Then we decided to drive up to Timpohon Gate
One of the starting points for Mt Kinabalu climbers
It was scenic !
Sejuk sejuk macam Cameron Highlands gitu
Back to KK for dinner
Had our dinner at the waterfront
Finally we had lobsters !
Had other seafood as well and a Sabah delicacy
Known as rumpai laut @ agar-agar

Lobster was good, especially yang masak stim limau
Don't ask for the chilli lobster
Unfortunately kedai tu tak pandai masak sangat
Sambal dah sedap
Tapi ada ke patut deep fry lobster tu
Pecah2 la kulit lobster dalam sambal
Haih memang pantang makan bersepai2 ni 😑
Tak banyak seafood yang ada because CNY was approaching that time
Yang ada pun, very pricey
But overall we had a reasonable price at that shop 😄
Bila dah kenyang, we just lepak in the room
Connected my camera to the tv and we watched all the pictures taken
Laughing at each others' silly faces
15/1/17 Sunday
Last day in KK
Followed mum and aunty to the market across the road
I followed only because of amplang
Pergi Sabah wajib beli amplang
Then terjebak kena ikut pergi beli ikan bilis, ikan masin etc
It was all along the road
So jalan je akan jumpa all sorts of things
I was quite surprised to see some kids asking for money near the market
Taktahu lah local ke outsiders
Looked like outsiders
Also noticed there were tailors by the roadside
Surprisingly semua lelaki
Ikan bilis was really cheappp
Bila pergi pasar tani at my place, rasa nak nangis tengok harga ikan bilis
Yang dah bersihkan costs about RM60/kg
Dah 26 tahun hidup baru sedar ikan bilis is a luxury food
1kg tu berapa lah sangat
There's also a wet market selling seafood
By the roadside ada jual vegetables & barang-barang kering
Wet market is away from the roadside, kena jalan ke belakang sikit
I didn't follow to the wet market
Mum and aunty bought fresh snapper & grade A prawns to be brought back
Sangatlah murah
Ikan tenggiri dekat KL 3 keping kecik RM20+
Masa tu, over there it costs about RM20 for a fresh whole tenggiri
Whereas grade A prawns at my place usually costs about RM80+/kg
RM120+/kg approaching Chinese New Year
In KK, boleh dapat RM35+/kg
Anyhow mum asked the vendor to pack our seafood
I would suggest if you could pack yourself, do it your way
Because we had a terrible experience
When we brought the seafood into the cabin
I don't even wanna recall what happened
I wish to apologise to the cabin crew for causing a mess
We really didn't know that the vendor didn't pack it properly 😣
All in all, it was a good experience
No doubt Sabah is a goooood place to relax
Dengan orangnya yang friendly and helpful
Except for some around Filipino market
Dekat situ bukan orang Sabah
Ramai orang luar jadi vendor
So don't get confused
Most Sabah people that I met memang baik
Our flight was in the evening
So after lunch we went to Tanjung Aru
Chit chat over the coffee
Then balik !
